Domestic violence is adverse and harmful to everyone who is involved. Therefore, it is essential to raise awareness about the risk factors and effects that are related to intimate partner abuse, as well as ways in which both a victim and an offender can receive help. Becoming aware about the facts and the information surrounding domestic violence may help an individual not only to recognize when someone, maybe even themselves, is at risk for suffering from abuse, but also how to help stop this horrific behavior.
